Hinulugang Taktak was opened on December 24, 1908. Services between Taytay and Antipolo ceased on February 21, 1918. It was replaced by a substitute bus service in 1937.
Informations[]
- It was named due to its location near Hinulugang Taktak falls in Antipolo City.
- Hinulugang Taktak is the remaining Antipolo Line station existing today.
- Although it was opened in 1908, the exact year when the rubble stone pillars were erected is unknown since most of the original station structures were made from wooden materials.
- Hinulugang Taktak might be the oldest rubble stone station since most stations on the other lines with rubble stone walls only started around 1930s.
- The layout of the station is similar with typical rubble stone flag stations on both MLN and MLN except that Hinulagang Taktak consists of eight pillars.
- The access road to and from Hinulugang Taktak was named Daang Bakal, after the railroad.
