Del Gallego is a station situated on the Manila-Legazpi Line. It serves Del Gallego, Camarines Sur.

History

Del Gallego was opened on January 31, 1938.

Informations

  • Del Gallego is the second station of the Manila-Legazpi Line located in the Bicol Region for trains bound for Legazpi.  In stations bearing its town names, Del Gallego was the first station.
  • The last rails completing the gap of the Aloneros-Ragay section were laid between Del Gallego station and Quilbay bridge on November 17, 1937, the first train ran on January 25, 1938 with passenger services started on January 31, the inauguration of the line happened on May 8.
  • A 30 meter spur formerly connects Del Gallego to the now defunct Danawin Saw Mill.
